Lapland Longspur
On Dec 24,2009 on a dirt road near Ridgely Maryland was a large flock of Horned larks and six Lapland Longspurs feeding on a pile of corn on the road . Fields were still snow covered from the week before snowstorm that left 16 inches on the ground .
